With radiation everywhere, ARK: Survival Evolved’s Aberration expansion is much scarier than Chernobyl

If we were to rank the most dangerous things in the world right now, nuclear radiation would certainly be in the top three. Chernobyl was the scene of a very serious radiation accident that left the city and the surrounding area of the nuclear power plant uninhabitable for hundreds of years, a huge loss for mankind. But Chernobyl is nothing compared to the nuclear radiation in the Aberration expansion of the survival game ARK: Survival Evolved, which is so powerful that it can kill a player in a second.

Being nuclear radiation, there is naturally a difference between strong and weak radiation. To make it easier for players to distinguish the strength of nuclear radiation, ARK: Survival Evolved uses colors to mark the different zones, with red/violet being the most dangerous, blue being intermediate radiation, and yellow being the weakest. In general, the yellow zones in the ARK: Survival Evolved Aberration DLC are free for players to survive, but within the red/violet zones, players will struggle to survive every second, even with a protective suit.

Many of the creatures in ARK: Survival Evolved has mutated in different ways due to the horrible radiation. Crabs have become killer crabs several times larger than humans, puppies have become ugly Bulbdogs due to the radiation, but the most terrifying of all is the creature that is known as “the Nameless”, an extremely frightening and intimidating creature.

But even in the dangerous ARK: Survival Evolved DLC Aberration, players can see the horrors of the human heart. Due to arrogance and prejudice, the player’s former partner, Rockwell, is discriminated against by other characters, due to his clone status. The result is that Rockwell goes insane and injects Element directly into his body, becoming a much more terrifying opponent than the mutant creatures because of the radiation, which positions him as the final boss of ARK: Survival Evolved’s Aberration DLC.
