Equus the magnificent ancestor of the modern horse. ARK: Survival Evolved

Horses have written an important part in the history of mankind. This creature was a necessary means of transportation for ancient man, it was not only fast but also incredibly tough. In a primitive past, owning a horse gave you the ability to cross from one city to another. The same is true in the world of the survival game ARK: Survival Evolved. Despite advanced technology in tools and weaponry, there are no vehicles like cars, and for this reason, you must also tame an Equus horse as a means of transportation for long journeys into the unknown.

Unlike most of the other creatures in ARK: Survival Evolved, the Equus can be ridden without having to craft a specific saddle, although it is advisable to craft one for it, because its saddle acts as a mortar, allowing you to create useful items even while moving. This ability is extremely useful, especially on long journeys.

In addition to being a mobile crafting table, the Equus saddle allows you to create a unique item, the lasso, which can be used to drag some of the small and medium-sized creatures in ARK: Survival Evolved. So you can lasso creatures and pull them into your taming room to tame them, or let your tribemates take care of the creatures, while you catch them.

If you are faced with a small creature in ARK: Survival Evolved, but don’t have any anesthetic at hand, you can use the Equus, as this creature is capable of knocking out many creatures, using its powerful backward kick that causes a huge stun effect on enemies, and then you can feed them something to tame them. This makes the Equus an invaluable tool for both taming and combat.
